After your AI TrustGap: what follow-up looks like
You have your TrustGap report. Here is what happens next — and how to get the most from the conversation with our assurance team.
Completing the AI TrustGap gives you a position, an evidence-coverage score, an indicative risk tier and a findings register. This is what happens next.
1. Your report arrives
The full report appears on screen as soon as you finish, and a copy is sent to your inbox. Keep the reference number — it links your answers to any follow-up, and to future reassessments.
2. A person reviews it
A member of our assurance team reads every report. We look for three things: the critical findings, the consistency signals (places where answers point in different directions), and the findings that need independent verification.
3. A follow-up conversation
If you asked for a call, we will propose a time. If not, you will receive a short written note. Either way, the follow-up is specific to your answers:
- which findings to fix first, and which you can fix yourself;
- which findings need independent testing, because a questionnaire cannot settle them;
- what a proportionate next step looks like for your risk tier — which may be nothing more than the roadmap in your report.
4. If an engagement makes sense
We scope it in writing: the systems in scope, the claims under test, the access required, the exit criteria, the timeline and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you agree the scope.
5. Reassess
Run the AI TrustGap again after you have closed findings. The same question bank version gives you a like-for-like comparison — the change in your TrustGap is the clearest measure of progress you can show your leadership.
Getting the most from it
- Answer honestly. "Don't know" is more useful to you than an optimistic guess.
- Bring the person who owns the system — and, if you can, the person who would have to defend it to an auditor.
- Have your report open. We will work from its finding IDs.
